Arena Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Arena is operated by Texa Global Technologies Ltd, a company incorporated in Nigeria (RC 8467566), which is responsible for the Arena service and your customer relationship. The Arena platform and technology are developed and licensed to us by Shawd Ltd (RC 9655495). In these terms, "Arena", "we", "us" and "our" mean Texa Global Technologies Ltd.
2. What Arena is
Arena is a scheduled, skill-based competition. On a competition night, every entrant plays the same short skill games, at the same moment, under the same rules. Finishing positions are determined by performance — accuracy and speed — not by chance. Entering a night costs an entry fee, and the night's prize pool is shared among the highest finishers according to the payout structure shown to you before you enter.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Arena. You may hold only one account, and you must give accurate information and keep it up to date. We may refuse, suspend or close accounts where Arena cannot lawfully be offered.
4. Your account
Your account is bound to your verified phone number. Keep your device and sign-in credentials secure: activity on your account is treated as yours. Display names must not impersonate others or be offensive; we may refuse or reset a name that breaks this rule.
5. Fair play
Arena is built to be provably fair: each night's games are cryptographically sealed and committed before entries open, and the commitment is published so anyone can verify the games were not changed after the fact.
In return, you agree not to: use bots, scripts or any form of automated play; hold or use more than one account; share or receive answers during a live night; or exploit a defect in the service. If we determine — including through automated integrity review — that a run breaches this section, we may disqualify the run, withhold or reclaim prizes connected to the breach, and suspend or close the account. Where a result is under review, payment of related prizes may be held until the review completes.
6. Entry fees, prizes and settlement
The entry fee, the prize pool and the payout structure for a night are shown before you enter, and the fee is taken from your Arena wallet when you enter. Results are settled after the night ends; ties are resolved by the published tie-break rules. Once settled, results and prizes are final except in the case of manifest error or a successful appeal made through the app within the stated window.
7. Wallet, deposits and withdrawals
Your Arena wallet holds funds for entry fees and receives prizes. Arena is not a bank and your wallet does not earn interest. Deposits are processed by licensed payment partners. Withdrawals are paid only to a bank account held in your own name and require identity verification: your Bank Verification Number (BVN) is used once to verify you and is stored only as an irreversible cryptographic hash — never the number itself. One verified payout identity may be linked to only one Arena account.
8. Refunds and voided nights
If a night cannot start or complete fairly — for example because of a technical failure or an integrity event — we may void it. Entry fees for a voided night are returned to your wallet. Entry fees for nights that completed normally are not refundable.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use Arena for any unlawful purpose, to commit fraud, or to interfere with the service or with other players.
10. Suspension and closure
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or where the law requires it. You may close your account at any time; any remaining verified balance will be paid out to you, subject to the verification and fair-play checks above. Prizes already settled to you are not affected by closure.
11. Liability
We provide Arena with reasonable care and skill, but we do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted — a night may need to be delayed, rescheduled or voided. Where that happens, section 8 applies. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we make a material change we will tell you what changed and ask you to accept the new version before you continue to use Arena.
13. Governing law and language
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The English version is the controlling version if translations differ.
