Your data
Get your data, or delete your account
Arena holds your data because you asked it to run a game for you. You can ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or close the account entirely — and you never have to ask a human for permission to leave.
Delete your account
In the app
Open Profile → Settings → Delete account, type the confirmation word, and confirm. The account is closed immediately. Nobody reviews the request and nothing is queued — you do not need this page to leave.
By email — if you have lost access to the app or your number
Email us from any address and tell us the phone number the account uses. We verify ownership before acting, because a deletion request is irreversible and we will not take a stranger's word for whose account it is.
[email protected]Ask for a copy of your data
Email [email protected] with the phone number your account uses. We will send a machine-readable copy of the personal data we hold about you: your account details, your night-by-night results, and your records. You can also ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
We answer data requests within 30 days.
What deletion removes, and what the law makes us keep
We would rather tell you this plainly than let you discover it afterwards. Deleting your account does not erase every trace of you, because some records are legal evidence we are required to retain.
| Deleted | Kept, and why |
|---|---|
| Your phone number, display name and profile photo · your home country and state · your device identifiers and push token · your ability to sign in | Financial records and consent records for the statutory retention period after closure — these are legal evidence and are kept whether or not you stay. Settled night results stay on the historical leaderboards, because a competition's past results cannot be rewritten after the fact without making every other player's record a lie. They are no longer linked to your identity. |
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may request access to your data, correction, deletion where we are not legally required to keep it, object to processing, and withdraw any optional consent. If you are unhappy with how we handle a request, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
The full detail of what we collect and why is in the Privacy Policy.
